Urbanista

urbanista is a company for participatory urban planning and communication, based in Hamburg (Germany) and founded in 1998. urbanista consists of 18 experts in urban planning, urban design, architecture, sociology, geography, graphics design, web development, and project management. It’s mission is to inspire social, economic and environmental change in cities. A special aim of urbanista’s work is the combination of innovative face-to-face and online tools, which are developed both by urbanista and the subsidiary Nexthamburg, which functions as a citizen think-tank and was founded in 2009. The participatory toolsets based upon the methods and formats piloted with Nexthamburg (referred to as the Next model) have been used in many German cities, but also for international projects, such as in Switzerland, Austria, Portugal, Turkey, Serbia, and India.

Polis

Polis is a network of European cities and regions cooperating for innovative transport solutions. Since 1989, European local and regional authorities have been working together within Polis to promote sustainable mobility through the deployment of innovative transport solutions.

Our aim is to improve local transport through integrated strategies that address the economic, social and environmental dimensions of transport. To this end, Polis supports the exchange of experiences and the transfer of knowledge between European local and regional authorities. It also facilitates the dialogue between local and regional authorities and other actors of the sector such as industry, research centres and universities, and NGOs.

Technical University of Vienna

Zaragoza Logistics Centrezlc

Zaragoza Logistics Center (ZLC) is a research institute established by the Government of Aragon in Spain in partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Zaragoza. Founded in 2003, the ZLC campus is located in the heart of PLAZA, the largest logistics park in the southwest of Europe that serves as a working laboratory to transfer new knowledge and working practices. ZLC mission is to create an international centre of excellence for research and education in logistics and SCM that actively engages with industry and the public sector to develop and disseminate knowledge.
