European Parking joint workshop

The Czech parking Association will host the annual joint workshop of the European Parking Association and Polis in the marvellous city of Prague. This workshop will take place on 13 September and is followed the day after by a Polis network Parking Working Group meeting.

The workshop gathers about 80 urban parking professionals discussing recent developments in parking. The 13 September workshop will deal with three issues:

  • Fair and efficient enforcement: scheme design and technologies to enable efficient enforcement, clamping, cross-border and digital enforcement
  • Future of parking: parking as enabler for car sharingA system that gives people access to a (small or large) flee… More, electromobility, parking policy in view of automated driving
  • EU parking policy processes: digital parking standards, PARK4SUMP project

The working group meeting on 14 September will focus on the validation of the Polis position paper on the use of digital parking information (informed drivers and informed policy makers).
